We're proud to announce that Super Linda, the Latin American restaurant in Tribeca that we've been plotting since 2010, is officially open for business! Be sure to check out El Jockey, the horse-friendly cocktail lounge downstairs.

The second of a series of finished apartments at 211 Elizabeth St. in NoLita. As an apartment for guests, we kept it light and cheerful with a friendly mid-century vibe. Stay tuned for our upcoming photo spread.

The Upper East Side's Tre Otto offers patrons a high-traffic coffee bar in the morning and an elegant Italian eatery for lunch and dinner. The challenge facing Own entity and collaborators The Design Element Studio INC., was to create a space versatile enough to meet those demands without compromising the client's desire for an elegant, inviting interior. The resulting 40-seat restaurant shifts easily from coffee slinging to fine dining. The cafe area transforms a deli case from a functional piece of equipment into an architectural element that meshes elegantly with its surroundings. Bare brick walls are lit with bronze sconces, and a long set of banquette tables provide perfect seating for the casual caffinator or the serious foodie.

Tonight is the first blue moon on New Year's Eve since 1990. This won't happen again until 2028. It is also today that we are announcing our design practice 'Own entity'. Happy New Year to all!

Own entity is teaming up with Eric Adolfsen of the Wooly for a redesign of neighboring restaurant Woolworth Tower Kitchen in the Woolworth Building.

Own entity is currently working with the all-star food and wine team behind the West Village's Dell'Anima and L'Artusi on a new wine and cocktail bar in the West Village.
